The Fun and Thrilling Wildlife Show in the Everglades

The Everglades National Park was established on December 6th, 1947. The Park covers 1.5 million acres of

tropical and subtropical habitats that boast of one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. It was for this

very reason that it was established as a National Park. It is the largest tropical wilderness in the entire country

and on an average one million people visit the Park every year to explore the habitats and get close and

personal with the wildlife.

The Everglades is home to many different ecosystems and hence, has hundreds (if not thousands) of different

animals and plants. Some of these ecosystems include pineland, cypress forests and mangroves, coastal

lowland, marine and estuarine ecosystems.

Wildlife in the Everglades

Wildlife is what Everglades is known best for, and most of the activities here revolve around the wildlife.

Hundreds of bird species, many of which are on the endangered or threatened list, reside in the Everglades.

Large birds, such as the roseate spoonbill, great blue heron, white ibis, a variety of egrets and ospreys call the

Miami Everglades home.

This place is also home to many endangered species, including the Florida Panther. If you’ve heard anything

about Everglades, you will already know its most popular inhabitants are the Florida alligators. There are almost

200,000 alligators living in the Everglades and with the Everglades wildlife show, you are sure to get close and

personal with these gators and many other insects and animals. If you’re an animal lover, there’s no better place

to be than the Everglades.

book their seats for a wildlife show. There are many shows available at all times, so there’s no chance of
